SOME HISTORY:
When Dara was 8 years old she landed the part of the Matchmaker in a summer camp production of Fiddler on the Roof. She’s been connecting people ever since. She is credited with at least three weddings that produced 6 children, and multiple corporate marriages that led to the creation of new businesses, financings, partnerships and innovation.
For over two decades, Dara has structured countless Wall Street symposiums and roadshows that brought thousands of investors, issuers and financial services providers together. Conferences are not just a business, they are her passion.
In 2011, when the JOBS Act was nothing more than a bunch of bills being tossed around the House Financial Services Committee, Dara began organizing small seminars in key cities across the country that would address the revolution brewing in financial services. The events quickly began to gain momentum.
On January 23, 2012, headlined by key JOBS Act architects: Congressman Patrick McHenry and Dave Weild, Dara produced the nation’s very first crowdfunding conference. That event launched the crowdfinance movement and led to the formation of the crowdfund industry’s trade and leadership organizations of which Dara co-founded. In 2013, Dara co-founded LendIt, the largest and most recognized global p2p & online lending conference organization.
In 2015, she co-founded FinFair, Wall Street’s inaugural conference featuring the leadership, products and technologies that are driving the crowd-centric retail alternatives market. Some of the most prominent figures in the financial industry as well as the legislature continue to participate in Dara Albright Events.
Dara Albright Events provide an unparalleled opportunity to accumulate gainful relationships as well as inestimable industry knowledge.
